Nutrition Services
About Nutrition Services
Nutrition services are designed to promote better health and well-being for older adults through improved nutrition. The Agency provides nutrition services in a variety of ways including congregate meals, home delivered meal services, nutrition screening, and nutrition education.
Congregate Meals
- All the Senior Community Centers offer hot, nutritious meals that meet 1/3 of the Recommended Daily Allowances (RDA) five days per week.
- Please check out the Senior Community Center locations for more information including how to make a reservation or see what’s on the current menu.
Home Delivered Meals
- To be eligible for Home Delivered meals, a consumer must be 60 years of age or older, must be assessed by a Mercer County Area Agency on Aging Care Manager and be unable to access and/or prepare food for themselves.
